Booth Centre is proud to work with UK citizens, refugees, migrants and anyone in need of support to address the impacts of homelessness, poverty and the immigration system. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge of person-centred, trauma-informed working for 30 years.

Story

Very few of us ever take the time to donate to the homeless, let alone talk to them. A few years ago I did just that, I stopped what I was doing, sat down, and talked to a homeless person begging in the streets of Manchester.

There started a two year friendship. We talked daily, often met for coffee and a bite to eat, and I helped him when I could filling in paperwork for him, or helping him to apply for accommodation and jobs. Sadly we lost touch and I haven't seen him since.

Although he often talked about how grim life on the streets was, one bastion of light he swore by was The Booth Centre and the support they offer to our City's forgotten. So, November 6th I will be sleeping rough to raise money for this charity. Please donate kindly to help a great cause.
