Story
I'm running the Coventry Half Marathon on 5th April 2020, I'm running to raise money for 'Pass the Smile for Ben' a special named fund at CCLG raising funds into rhabdomyosarcoma and supportive care. This page has been set up to raise funds in memory of Ben Crowther a little boy who went to my children's school who was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma in June 2018 and passed away in June 2019.
Treatment for rhabdomyosarcoma has not advanced for decades and survival rates are shockingly poor. His parents set up this fund in his memory because they believe that it shouldn't be like this and more research into better, kinder, targeted treatments is desperately needed.
