Story

Hi All

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may or may not know I have been a trustee at Andover and District Mencap for over three years. Part of the reason I do this is because they provide excellent support and facilities for people like my sister, who has severe learning disabilities.

To support the work of Andover and District Mencap on 19 April 2015 I will be taking part in the challenge to conquer Europe's Longest and Fastest Zip Wire. At 500 feet high, 1 mile long and up to speeds of 100mph this is something that both excites and terrifies me.

The aim of this fundraising is to raise enough sponsorship through the event to update and purchase specialist IT equipment to support people with a learning disability.

This opportunity will enable people to make use of equipment that I and many others take for granted and will help give people with learning disabilities the same opportunities that we all have.

Any donation, no matter how large or small, that you can make can hopefully help make a difference. If you can Gift Aid it as well that would be great.

Kind regards

Philip
