At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours or under. This will involve a total acent of over 9800 feet (300 miles) and traveling over 470 miles.

I've chosen to donate any money I get for participating in this challenge to the Alzheimer's society as they help and support those suffering with dementia as well as giving care to the family around these indiviuals. The Alzheimer's society also funds research to both find cures and find causes for dementia.

Dementia causes a great loss to cognitive ability and could happen to anyone, young or old. It comes in many forms and distroys lives, so support those trying to support sufferers!
