Story

For me this is going to be one heck of a challenge. Not only do I have arthritis  but I haven’t ridden  a bike for a rather long time apart from the electric one in France a few years ago.

I’ve reached the point in my life where I’d like to do something that will really challenge me and means a great deal. I’ve chosen Ovarian / Breast Cancer as my charity as I lost my mum to ovarian cancer when I was just 17 years old. I have recently been diagnosed with the BRCA 1 gene and in February this year had my ovaries removed. In November I am having a double mastectomy and feeling very nervous about everything. If I can manage to get through this I can manage a little bike ride through London. My lovely friend Caroline will be joining me so if you can spare a few £‘s please help me reach my target. Thank you for reading and supporting xx
