I completed the Ride London event on Sunday 10 August in terrible weather conditions courtesy of ex-Hurricane Bertha! Flash floods and torrential rain followed us round the course, though I did get to see the sun for the last 15 miles.  I did have a problem on a tight corner in a village around the 40 mile mark when my back wheel slipped and then I couldn't quite get round so hit the barrier but took the hit on my arm to save the bike! Great to get round in an official time of 6 hrs and 3 minutes.  

Great support for us Wheelers from Whizz-Kidz at cheer points round the course despite the rain and afterwards. Fabulous charity doing marvellous work, please help me raise my target funding for them!
