The Pembroke Centre is home to Wilton Riding for the Disabled Association. We are run predominantly by volunteers. We provide riding and equine therapy to nearly 300 children and adults from the local area on our 16 horses and ponies.

Story

Wilton Riding for the Disabled is a fantastic charity that provides riding therapy to nearly 230 children and adults from the local area on their 16 loved and well cared for horses and ponies.

The RDA’s operational costs come in at over £80,000 a year. They do not charge for their services nor do they receive public funding, and so they rely on their volunteer’s hard work and increasingly imaginative fundraisers.

My mum, Carol, has been volunteering for the charity for nearly 18 years. It’s a charity the whole family has helped to support in numerous fundraisers, now it’s my turn with a tandem skydive!
