By making a donation you can help us: support our ambulance service staff now and beyond the COVID 19 pandemic; support and recruit volunteers; provide community defibrillators; develop a Cadet Scheme.

Story

On Sunday 8th September 2019 I will be running the Simplyhealth Great North Run to raise money for the North East Ambulance Service Trust Fund.

North East Ambulance Service have set up a Charitable Fund to give those people who want to make a gesture of thanks to the service, the opportunity to donate to their charity.

With your kind donations, NEAS can help to support their Volunteers, Community First Responders, Drivers and Porters, and install important medical equipment such as Community Defibrillators across the North East.

As a Student Paramedic currently studying with the University of Sunderland, and someone that has had placement experience with North East Ambulance Service this year, I have been able to witness firsthand the significance of early defibrillation in cardiac arrests and the importance of fundraising for community defibrillators.

Therefore, any donations that could help raise money for such vital emergency equipment would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Philippa x
