On the 14th May, with just over two weeks notice, I have set myself the challenge of completing a Half Marathon (21km) with the aim of raising money for the South Snowdonia Search and Rescue team. 

This is in memory of the wonderful parent's of a close friend, Ruth and Kevin Burke, who sadly lost their lives in the helicopter crash before Easter. I have been inspired by their family's strength and I know that the money I hope to raise, however big or small, will be going to a great cause.
