Story
** Update**Thank you so much for your unbelievably kind donations, we're blown away by your support!
Big day tomorrow and we hope to make you all proud as well as running our best for our dear friend Donna
Thank you so much again, you're all amazing!! Xx
Our dear friend Donna passed away just 10 months after bowel cancer diagnosis, and after 6 months of gruelling chemotherapy, her age was just 41.
We're running the Virtual London Marathon in her memory on Sunday October 3rd 2021 in Clevedon.
Her loss is felt by all who knew her, not least her family, husband and 2 sons ages 11 & 13 , but all her friends, as well as colleagues from the maternity units in St Michael's Hospital and Weston General Hospital.
She was forever positive, before and during treatment and remained an extraordinary friend who will be forever in our hearts.
Donna knew we were running the marathon and we would dearly love to do her proud by running our best race, and by raising as much as we possibly can, with the hope to help other families like Donna's who need support during their most challenging of times.
Running this distance is a huge challenge for us, and we hope you can help support us with any donation possible
Thank you
Philippa & Kath
