Story

I've known about OSARCC for several years now as my partner volunteers for them. I signed up to run on their behalf for the 2020 half marathon which was cancelled, so I'm delighted to be able to run for them this year. They're a fantastic women-led organisation aimed at supporting women and girls, so it's a real privilege to be able to raise money for them to enable them to continue their great work.

OSARCC's mission is to support women and girl survivors of sexual violence, promote and advocate for their needs and work towards the elimination of sexual violence. They do this by providing a range of support services (including counselling, support groups, helpline and email support, and advocacy), raising awareness of the prevalence and impact of sexual violence and challenging, and changing public attitudes about sexual violence in Oxfordshire and beyond.
