On July 27th elite athletes Phil Guest & Jon Raitt will embark on a fundraising triathlon in memory of greatly missed sister and friend, Julia Guest.

Our challenge will consist of a 750m swim, followed by a 20km Cycle and concluding with a 5km Run.

We will be raising money in aid of The Cynthia Spencer Hospice Trust in Northampton where the care provided to Julia was of the highest possible standard.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice have helped make life a little easier for all those living with cancer in Northampton and serves a population in excess of 300,000 people.  They admit approx 400 in-patients each year and need to raise £704,000.00 of its budget this year via donations and fundraising.

Without such facilities Julia and other patients will not have had the amazing care they need the most.  Lets ensure people like Julia don't suffer and give them a ray of light, hope and comfort when they need it the most.

For those of you who are not aware and for many of you that do, my Sister Julia was diagnosed with cancer in September 2008, battle is not a strong enough word to describe Julia’s journey but without the care and attention from Cynthia Spencer the last weeks of her life would have been so heartbreakingly painful.

Every donation no matter how big or small can make a difference so please pledge whatever u can.

Our fund-raising target is £2000, but Jon said if we hit the £2225 mark he'll take on the Ironman Triahlon next year...so lets make this happen!
