Thanks to all who have donated so far. Unfortunately, training a little too enthusiastically has caused me to damage my Achilles tendon and I'm not able to run The Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday. I have been hoping it will heal in time but I've tried running and it's not good. I've also been cautioned that I could do long term damage.

I'm devastated, and sorry to have let down Nick Rapley and The Victoria Cohen Eye Cancer Charitable Trust...but I will be running for them next year in The London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 2 2023.
