We are a team of four guys from Leonardo UK Ltd who are permanently embedded at MoD Abbey Wood in Bristol. Every Summer as part of the Leonardo charity 'Steps Challenge", we undertake a number of walks to boost our steps count, to aid our personal fitness and to bolster our mental/emotional wellbeing. This year, we thought we would take it a step further....To highlight the existence of our small team to the rest of the Leonardo UK Ltd. community, we would attempt to walk from our base at Bristol to our headquarters at Capability Green, Luton, some 130 miles away. The 'Long Walk' would be done over 5 days, averaging approx 26 miles a day - no mean feat for a team where the youngest is 52... Standby for regular updates!
