I was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in February 2010. Since then I have exercised mainly by walking. Last years total was just under 3000 miles and this was over 6 million steps. I have walked in Peru, Jordan, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Rome , Athens and the UK. This is my opportunity to help the Colostomy UK (a national charity) that offers support and advice to people with stomas and to their families, carers and friends. Colostomy UK also campaigns and acts as advocates for ostomates on the many issues they face going about their daily lives. We want hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all.
