Story

Hi,

On the 1st March 2020 I will be taking on the Vitality Big Half marathon in aid of Mesothelioma UK. In June 2019 my dad was diagnosed with this terminal form of lung cancer associated with exposure to asbestos. It is particularly prevalent among tradespeople and members of the armed forces who would have come into contact with asbestos as part of their working lives and may take decades to present itself. Mesothelioma UK fund specialist nurses providing palliative care to patients across the country, as well as scientific and clinical research into finding a cure for the disease.
You can find out more on their website www.mesothelioma.uk.com

Any amount of sponsorship would make a big difference to
this relatively small charity.
