Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to abandon my family for 2 weeks in February and together will a few others we will attempt to cross Costa Rica, coast to coast. Starting on the 8th February, we will cover just over 274km, climbing volcanoes (active?), hiking through almost impenetrable jungle (snakes?), rafting on grade 5 white water rapids and kayaking against the might of the Atlantic Ocean (sharks). On a personal level it will take me well outside of my comfort zone and the challenge will be in getting myself into shape for this as well as getting my head around a few of the adventures as they happen.

So why are we doing this?
