Run to the Beat · 28 October 2012

Your generosity will create impact in three key areas: equity in education, empowering spaces, and research for society. Together, these priorities bring our vision to life. With your support, we can turn ambition into action and create lasting change.

Story

One man. Thirteen miles. Thousands of slow lorises needing our help. Being driven to the edge of extinction, funds are badly needed for lorises in the ongoing, arduous battle against the illegal pet trade, logging and poaching for traditional medicines. Go to Run, Loris, Run! to find out more.

Established by Dr Anna Nekaris at Oxford Brookes University, The Little Fireface Project leads the way in loris conservation. Despite this, one of the world's most loveable animals is still in major trouble. We however, can help.

On October 28th, I'll be running London's Run to the Beat half-marathon. I get tired enough walking up a flight of stairs. Getting me through training is the thought of potentially helping save one of the earth's most unique and fascinating species. For no matter how big or small an amount, you can do the same.
