Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the last few years firefighters from Looe fire station have run the Looe 10 miler for the firefighters charity in teams wearing full firefighting PPE. This year because of COVID restrictions the race is being run virtually over a 30 day period with the firefighters charity as the main charity benefiting from monies raised.

As we will be unable to participate as a team at the event and as I enjoy a challenge I have decided to run the 10 miler course every day for the whole 30 days, that's 300 miles in distance and over 7 miles of elevation in 30 days.

I'm raising money for the firefighters charity, as a retained firefighter I have to say that the work these guys do for firefighters is incredible, for more info have a look at their website www.firefighterscharity.org.uk

UPDATE 15th Feb - Thanks to those who have donated thus far we have already hit the initial fundraising total of £500. With 5 days to go until I start the running I just wanted say thanks for all the support, please stay tuned for more updates.

UPDATE 21st Feb - 2 days into the challenge and now over £1000 raised. Thanks to all who have donated and to those offering support, you can track my progress here https://www.strava.com/dashboard?feed_type=my_activity
