The Rainy Day Trust is determined to keep raising vital funds at a time when it is more valuable than ever to be able to help those suffering. The latest issued challenge is to take one million steps during March, an initiative thought-up by the Trusts’ ceo Bryan Clover.

Not ones to shy away from a challenge, especially with a very fit and healthy Emma Cain (PH’s product editor) on side, Progressive Housewares has entered a team – Progressive Pedometers – and dusted off its walking boots. John Barry, advertising manager for housewares operations at Max Publishing said: “This is a lovely way to raise some vital funds and improve our own mental health at the same time. Jo Howard has plenty of dog-walking to take care of plus I’ve finally managed to unstick Rob Willis from his office chair which is no bad thing – he could do with getting some miles under that tight belt!”
