Story
Myself and my Auntie are running the Sheffield 10k on 13 Oct 2019.
As this is a new challenge for me, I have decided to raise money for 2 charities, Cancer Research and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. These charities continue to do amazing things in relation to research for finding a cure!
I have chosen JDRF because having had type 1 diabetes myself for 5 years now, I can see the work they have done to make living with this condition easier on a day to day basis, although there is still a long way to go before we live in a world where it can do no harm.
I have also chosen Cancer Research because I sadly lost my Grandad to cancer and I’ve also had cancer affect many people who are close to me.
I haven’t got a target, I just want to raise as much money as possible. To be able to support these charities would mean the world to me.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
All registration fees have been paid out of our own money and we will not be claiming any of this back through donations. All donations will be paid directly to Cancer Research and JDRF through my Just Giving page.
