I am honoured to be running this years Berlin Marathon for such a fantastic charity. The key focus of Clic Sargent is to ensure children don't just survive but thrive. Cancer shatters young cancer patients’ education, social lives and future prospects. They need support not just to survive cancer but to finish treatment with their future in their grasp.

Too often, young cancer patients and their families don’t get the support they need from the government. So I am doing my bit to ensure that the money I raise helps research and campaigning for policy change in the things which matter most to them. 

This is my fourth marathon and I am hoping for a personal best of under 4 hours - training is starting now so fingers crossed months of solid training will pay off!
