I'm doing this to raise money for my Mum and the other wonderful staff and the work they do at The Fountain Centre to make the lives of people with cancer, and their friends and families massively less shitty.

Part of the NHS Royal Surrey County Hospital trust, the Fountain Centre offers a space for cancer patients and their families to receive support including counselling, complementary therapies, wig services, art therapies and just a place to chill, drink tea and coffee, sleep and chat to a host of staff and volunteers who understand.

My Mum and her work with complimentary therapies - massage, reflexology, aromatherapy - is paid for by the NHS. It has proven to be hugely important but you know this part of the service will be the first to go in NHS cuts. Help me help her help others.
