My Story -
I would like to donate my hair as I believe it can make a difference alongside the funding for cancer research which I am fundraising for. I have seen the effects of cancer in my family and the pain that illnesses like cancer can cause.
I have witnessed my Aunt become widowed not long after she got married to my uncle Wayne. He was a kind and funny man who made everyone's life a brighter place to be. This deeply affected my family and still does to this day. He will always be missed by everyone who knew him. One thing I will never forget is his voice calling me a Spanner when I was obsessed with eating chives at the ages of 4-6 years.
Someone else I know is having a round of Chemo before a bone marrow transplant which she has been waiting for ages she struggled with losing her hair.
This illness has climbed through my family, from scares to diagnosed cancer, I hope that one day this wouldn't be a reality and that there will be a cure for Cancer.
So In memory and support of my family, I have decided to donate my hair to the little princess trust and start fundraising in the hope that Together we will get one step closer to a cure.
The little princess trust and their story :
when a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
