We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

I've got bowel cancer that spread to my liver and lymph nodes.

Thanks to a combination of chemotherapy, ablation and surgery, it's not showing up on the scans any more.

So naturally, I'm in awe of all the fantastic people who've given me a new lease of life.

How do I ever repay them? Maybe raise some money for the hospitals that have treated me. (Diagnosed in The Mayday, Chemo in the Marsden Sutton, Surgery in the Marsden Fulham Road, Biopsy in the Royal London Hospital, Compression Bandaging in Acclerate Clinic Mile End Hospital, Pyoderma Gangrenosum in Croydon University Hospital, a period of wailing and gnashing teeth in St Christophers Hospital)

Then.... amazingly, I seemed to have turned the corner. I'm ecstatic! Every day is a bonus. So I'd depserate to pay back the kindness of all the people who put me back together.

I'll start by trying to raise some money for the Royal Marsden Hospitals' charity.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.
