Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Mum, Margaret Graham, died in June 2013 having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 months earlier. She was a keen needle woman and has passed on her many talents to me and others in the family. During her illness she was nursed by so many caring ladies especially those from Marie Curie Cancer Care.

I have been quilting for about 5 years now and most of the quilts I produce are donated to charity for fundraising. I will be supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care to enable the charity to continue their work caring for terminally ill patients and helping ordinary families like ours care for their loved ones, especially those wishing to stay at home. I hope you enjoy following the progress of my quilts over the next year or so on my blog

piecing-it-all-together.blogspot.co.uk

and hopefully by sharing the link, spread the word and raise a few pounds for the charity. As I complete a quilt I will publish it for all to see and perhaps someone out there will buy it for a good cause. Thanks for following and all your support.
