Fundraising for Pilgrims Hospices In East Kent

We the trustees, at Pilgrims Hospices, have decided to show off some of our secret skills and take on the 2.6 challenge in appreciation for the skilled and compassionate end-of-life care that the wonderful staff at Pilgrims Hospices are still delivering, every day, to some of the most vulnerable people in our community during the current health crisis.
We will be doing an assortment of challenges, including one pushing their limits with 26 press pushes, one will be walking 67.6 miles for the next 26 days, this is the equivalent to an average of 2.6 miles per day and approx 6000 steps. With another undertaking 26 squats whilst carrying a 5kg bag of chicken feed. Our trustee board are certainly very creative in their thinking!

It is estimated that the UK charity sector will lose £4 billion in income as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This impacts all sectors of society - from children to the elderly - as well as the vital work of Pilgrims Hospices who are #StillHereStillCaring for patients and families who need us during these challenging times.
