It wouldn't have escaped the attention of the more observant amongst our number that 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the foundation of our fine cricket club, the Pimlico Strollers. As such, we are delighted to reveal that in order to celebrate we have arranged a special inter-club match to be held on Sunday 28 July at Regents Park no less, which older Strollers will recall is the site of our very first matches in the summer of 1989!

What's more, we are using the opportunity to raise some much needed funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, with whom we have longstanding links.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
