Each of us ladies have a very personal reason as to why we're running the Race for Life this year. For more pictures please view the gallery.

Ally: For my Grandad who passed away on February 7th 2010 after suffering from colon and liver cancer. 

 

Holly and Helen who's Grandpa/Dad passed away after losing the battle to liver cancer on 23rd February this year.

Lesley (my Mum) who's own Mom lost the battle to breast cancer on January 1st 1989. I cannot imagine losing my mum at the age of 20, this lady deserves a medal. 

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
