I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk for Breast Cancer Now because too many people I know and care about have been affected by breast cancer - it almost feels like an epidemic sometimes. My wife is currently having treatment and also went through it 10 years ago, and whilst there are new treatments such as immunotherapy, it's still a pretty brutal process to get through. We need better and earlier diagnosis, more personalised and integrated treatments, and better understanding of assessing risk and prevention.
