For me, this walk is about gratitude. I have been so fortunate to have received extraordinary care over the past 6 months while being treated for cancer. I have also been lucky with early detection and therefore an encouraging prognosis. I am painfully aware that others are in a much more difficult situation. This walk is to raise funds for them and for all those who come after us.
