Story
I am fortunate that no one I know or love has been directly affected by breast cancer. However, I know that many families are not as lucky. Taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk is my way of showing support for those who have faced this illness and the challenges that come with it. As I get older, I appreciate more and more how important good health is, and it makes me think about those who haven’t been as fortunate. By participating, I hope to help raise awareness and support the people, families, and research efforts working to fight breast cancer.
I am taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer. By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone. By sponsoring my Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
