Story
This year I am celebrating 5 years of being Breast Cancer free, thankful to be a survivor and I will also turn 60 in August.
To celebrate all of this - I have walked 60 miles over 3 Pink Ribbon Walks (20 miles each) - Blenheim Palace (completed 6.5 hours), Crieff Hydro, Scotland (completed 7.5 hours) and Chatsworth House, Peak District (completed 7 hours in 27 degrees) to raise money for Breast Cancer Now - a charity that has been so important throughout my journey. 1 mile for every year I have been born! Team: 60 for 60!
Thanks to everyone who has donated.
Friends joined me on each of the walks and I am grateful to them for their support and company throughout.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As always your support and donations are gratefully received by myself and the charity. xx
Your sponsorship will be greatly appreciated to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer. By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone. By sponsoring my Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer.
