Survivor Space (formerly OSARCC) is the only organisation providing non-statutory, accredited, specialist support to survivors of sexual violence in Oxfordshire.  We support survivors of all genders, aged 14 and above, who have experienced any form of sexual violence – at no cost to them.

Story

I don't like easy goals.

I also don't like running very much.

However I, with a bunch of amazing friends joining me along the way, will be running a race a month, every month, for a year. No ifs. No buts. Not only that but through training runs I'm setting a goal of 500k over the whole year, 310 miles in old money (or the distance from Yarm in North Yorks - where I was born - to Fareham on the South Coast - the place I grew up).

The only thing which will stop me is if they schedule surgery on my arm in which case I'll still do 12 races just not one a month. The 500k target will remain.

Each race with be no less than 5k.

Scheduled runs so far:

January - Oxford 10k

February - Virtual Pow Run 5k

March - Silverstone 1/2 Marathon & Heyford Park 5k

April - Windsor & Eton Fun Run – 10k

May - Rocket Run 5k & Rough Runner 10k

June - Cheltenham 10k

July -The Shere 10k

August - Gauntlet Games 5k

September - TBC

October - TBC

November - TBC

December - Bicester Santa Run 3k (TBC)
