Story
Well, well. I'm sitting here in a quiet corner of Scunthorpe Hospital's Coronary Care Unit expecting to hear th soft voice of Yvonne as she wakes me from a vivid dream and sends me to work Monday morning.. But it keeps not happening. The dream (more of a nightmare realy) isn't a dream at all. Sure enough it's reality. Rather too real actually: Up until Monday I'd never spent a night in hospital. Two days later I'm staring at triple bypass surgery. Having a Hartside Moor heart attack wasn't quite the way I expected to draw people to sponsor our efforts to support Way of Hope, but then, I'm learning to never look a gift horse in its Atrial Fibrilation!
What I mean is thank you so very very much to all of you who have rushed in and shown support and love in a very real and tangible way. How very gracious you all are. Thank you. And don't worry, I'll b fine!
