Ride London 100 · 8 August 2015

Medair is a Christian humanitarian organisation responding to conflict, disease and disasters to bring relief where it is needed most by the world's most vulnerable and hard-to-reach people and to save lives and bring hope to them.

Story

You find Medair  in places that hit the headlines: Syria, Nepal, Haiti, South Sudan and more. They work to relieve human suffering, Medair bring relief and recovery to people in crisis.

My sister Lois and her husband Alex have worked in South Sudan for Medair since January 2013.

Sponsor me to help support the AMAZING and TOUGH work they do there.

Keeping reading for more...

South Sudan is the world's newest country, with problems way beyond its young years - 2 million displaced people and 4 million people at risk of severe food shortage.

Last year Lois and Alex were part of the team providing health and sanitation to a refugee camp in Maban. In 2015 they are part of Medair's 'Emergency Response Team' - a daunting name (especially for mums!) for what is genuinely life-saving work - going where the need is greatest to provide health, nutrition, water and sanitation support.

In a few weeks time I'm cycling 100 miles round London to raise money for the incredible work they do.

Give a little, give a lot. Give because you know Lois and Alex, because you know me, or you're lucky enough to know all of us!

Or best of all because it's a spectacularly worthy cause which needs some help.

Thanks in advance,

Pip
