Chester Half Marathon · 13 May 2012
Hello again.
After the great success (and slight hip issues) of the BUPA Birmingham Half Marathon last year, which I ran to raise money for the stroke association and in honour of my Granny, I am now hoping to have further success. I will be running the Chester Half Marathon to raise money for my lovely Grandad who unfortunately lost his battle with Parkinsons Disease in March.
Parkinsons Nurses and Hereford & District Branch of Parkinsons UK have been a great help and support to my grandad and family and I would like to raise money to support both these worthwhile elements of the charity.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep (or shallow) and donate what you can for a good cause, a great man and a foolish lady!!!!
