PiP works with adults with a learning disability to achieve their ambitions and live a life of their choice. We help people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to live more independent, happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.

Story

Hello,

Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) helps adults with learning disabilities to achieve their potential.

For example, helping people with Down Syndrome to be more independent in the home or giving them support in a busy city so that they can get to work.

I think this charity is a great idea because it should give a profit back to the community. Disabled people are capable of many things including some degree of work and independence. They just need some help and direction. The effort of support and funding by PIP is rewarded back to the wider community through greater participation and autonomy for disabled individuals.

If you are able to give a small donation it will be well received by myself on behalf on PIP.

I am looking forward to doing my best in the triathlon. I will be my first attempt.

All the best,

Sandy
