PIP Woodcraft Hiking Challenge · 22 February 2014 to 23 February 2014 ·

PiP works with adults with a learning disability to achieve their ambitions and live a life of their choice. We help people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to live more independent, happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.

Story

On the Weekend of 22 -23 February 4 teams of PIP learning disabled students and staff are joining up with Camden Woodcraft Folk to do a 7 mile hiking challenge.

This is an exciting and unique fundraising project for PIP, which puts our students at the forefront of our fundraising efforts. PIP students, staff and young volunteers from Woodcraft are hiking through fields and woods to camp in a Scout Hut.

In the build up to this event the students have been working hard doing training sessions, going on walks, learning about safety in the countryside and how woodcraft folk work together.

Our team is Camilla, Lauren, Paris and Polly

This challenge is really important to our learning disabled students so please donate to support them to achieve it!
