Maidenhead Lions have been organising the successful annual Swimarathon since 1986, during which time nearly £1,000,000 has been donated. Lions enjoy the continuing support of local schools, churches, youth organisations & sports and social clubs as well as many local companies and individuals. Swimmers of all ages and abilities enjoy working as a team to raise money for their favourite good causes and for Lions too. Maidenhead Lions are part of the world's largest service organisation with 1.35m. members serving in 206 countries. Lions are both non-political and non-sectarian. We run fund raising events to provide funds to support local people and local, national and international organisations and projects.
