Culture Perth and Kinross is a charitable organisation that seeks to inspire the areas citizens and visitors to lead richer and more active lives through culture, art and learning. We are incredibly grateful to all our donors, supporters and sponsors whose generosity helps us provide our wide range of services and events throughout the city. Perth and Kinross is at the heart of Scotland. Through a range of highly regarded services, events, talks and activities, Culture Perth and Kinross works to amplify across generations its significant story. By supporting us with a donation you can help us reach new and diverse audiences, add to our collections of national significance for future generations and support new and emerging creative work. Every penny we receive goes directly into service delivery and every penny really does make a difference. We value each donation small and large as we value each customer and visitor to our services. The biggest benefit will be knowing you are helping to support and promote the culture and heritage of this exceptional area.

Story

As part of Perth & Kinross Archive's fortieth anniversary celebrations we have launched a fundraising campaign to  purchase two museum quality display cases. This will allow us to develop a small exhibitions programme, showcasing regular displays and stories from the archive collections.

The cases will provide an attractive and secure environment for the archives, with ultra-violet filters to protect them from the damaging effect of light, toughened glass for strength and air-tight seals to protect them from dust and pollution. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see a selection of our treasures and other records which we will be able to  display for the first time.

Our total fund-raising target is £7,400. We have already raised nearly £2,000 through the generosity of members of the Friends of Perth & Kinross Archive and a corporate donation from Bruynzeel Storage Systems.

Each and every contribution will be gratefully received. The Just Giving website will automatically transfer all donations to CPK's bank account where they will be ring-fenced for the archive display cases fund. We will post an update when we reach our target and the cases have been ordered.
