Platnum are a Bassline /Garage vocal group from Manchester, consisting of male singer songwriter Aaron Evers and singer & rapper Michelle McKenna. The duo is best known for providing the vocals on H “Two” O’s 2008 single, “What’s It Gonna Be?” which reached number two in the UK. Their second single ‘Love Shy” was released shortly after and continues to be a favourite on the club scene.
Platnum, who formed around 2004, have worked with DJs Jamie Duggan and Q as well as producers Virgo, H “Two” O, Nastee Boi and currently Colin Francis. They have toured, supporting N-Dubz, and in 2012 teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas producer DJ Poet and released an album called ‘Lost In The Music’ with All in Recordings.
This year has propelled them back into the spotlight with the release of a new single, which they produced with legendary producer White N3rd “Just For Me”.
Having just finished the their Its “About Time Tour” including a few support gigs for Craig David they have just been back in the studio finishing their new EP and have confirmed a big tour with dates to be released very soon.

M - Yes I've had a few

3. What’s your biggest fear?
M - Scared of being alone in the dark
A - Being burnt alive
4. Snog, marry or avoid: Freddie Kruger, Dracula or Frankenstein’s monster?
M - Avoid Freddie, snog Dracula and marry Frankenstein
A - Avoid, avoid, avoid... because none of them are my type
5. Favourite Halloween-related film?
M - Candy Man
A - Hocus Pocus
ABOUT THE LOCKDOWN:
A group of brave ghost hunters will gather in the bowels of Old Granada Studios on Saturday 29th October to expose the dastardly goings on of Manchester’s undead whilst simultaneously raising cash for Forever Mancheser. Their only way out is to get friends and family to raise as much cash as they can for Forever Manchester.
Depending on how much money is in each competitor’s JustGiving account – they will either be released and whisked off to Forever Manchester’s Halloween Spooktacular at Old Granada Studios to party the night away, or they will be locked up for even longer until the last man or woman standing is solo – spooky!
