Alex Vaisey was a truly special person and touched the hearts of many people. Sadly Alex had battled cancer for many years of his life and that battle tragically came to an end in April this year.

Alex adored the wonderful game and formed many friendships throughout his life because of this.

Therefore we would all like to play a game in his honour, as tribute to how wonderful he truly was.

Please join us on Saturday 15th July, to commemorate the life of our wonderful friend, Alex Vaisey, playing the game that he adored. Alex’s old Griffithstown AFC U16s squad will recombine after nearly 15 years to play against Alex’s senior team, Pilcs (Select).

The game will be played at Pilcs, 3pm kick off. Doors open from 2pm.

All money that is raised will be donated to Cancer Research and St David’s Hospice. Please donate as much as you are able to. We would love for each amount for both charities to be equal or very close. Please donate via Tom or Joe’s page and the respective charities.
