I am part of the Greenhouse Sports team taking part in Ride Cymru in September 2026, raising money for the amazing work they do changing and improving the lives of young people.

1 in 5 young people growing up in poverty believe their lives will amount to nothing. Poverty stacks the odds against them and gets in the way of their potential by robbing them of opportunities.

If you're on this page, I'm certain that, like me, you'll find that eye opening and will want to do something about it.

I've seen up close the incredible team at Greenhouse and have heard first hand the stories and impact that they have on young people, supporting them over years to create meaningful change.

The charity provides young people with mentors, support, coaching and sports outreach in communities that need it most around the UK, including in London, Leicester and Portsmouth.

I've benefitted from people taking a chance on me through my life, opening up opportunities that allow me to fulfil my potential.

Some young people don't get the same access to these opportunities and barriers stop them seeing and achieving their potential - unless supported by the brilliant team at Greenhouse.
