I lost my father for cancer. Even with access to all medical support, he passed away. You live with that bitter feeling for the rest of your life, at the same time you feel that you gave him everything that was possible. 

Now imagine that you are father or mother and your son or daughter has cancer. And to save them you need to take them to the only pediatric hospital in the country 12h away, and your salary is 50 cents a day... Imagine that to be able to make the journey you need to sell everything you have in your life... 

Can you imagine what they feel...?

In developing countries, children with cancer need to find a way to reach the one hospital in the country that can offer treatment – sometimes the hospital is up to three days away. Some families sell all they have to pay for transport. Often, they are forced to give up treatment, because the journey is too hard and too expensive.

Something as simple as transport can have a huge impact on the lives of sick or struggling children all over the world. Medical and family support is available, but children face the hidden challenge of how they get there. How do they overcome seemingly impossible journeys?

The interesting thing is that YOU and ME we can help those children! We have the possibility of adding a bit of hope in an otherwise unbearable situation. 

And at this moment more than 500 children need our help.
