Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity that raises the funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying and fleet of Critical Care Cars responding. We can only be there for those in need, with your continued kindness and support. Together, we are Devon Air Ambulance.

Story

Here we go again! Attempt #2 at the Plymouth Half Marathon!

This time we are running for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is a charity that raises funds to keep Devon’s two Air Ambulances flying and two rapid response Critical Care Cars running.

The speed with which the Air Ambulance can reach a patient, identify their needs and provide life-saving treatment is crucial in helping to achieve a successful outcome.

In 2022 they attended 1828 missions - 43 were equestrian incidents, 109 were children, 294 were car accidents and 360 were cardiac arrest.

The work this team does is SO important and is 100% dependent on volunteers, fundraisers, lottery members, corporate supporters, Helipad readers, customers and donors.

I know how close to heart this charity is for many people. I am fortunate enough to have never needed the Air Ambulance but know many friends whom have required the service and how incredibly grateful they are  for their rapid response care. As a horse rider and avid Dartmoor explorer I know how important it is to support this incredible charity.

Please support DAAT by sponsoring our Plymouth Half Marathon run!

  • £40 helps towards the cost of an aircrew jacket
  • £20 provided a blanket to protect a patient in an exposed location
  • £10 comforts a young patient with a Devon Air Ambulance teddy
