I am aiming to run 90 miles a month for the duration of 2021. I am starting this challenge on 1st January 2021 and will complete it by 31st December 2021, having hopefully ran 1,080 miles (145 km's a month and 1738 km's in 2021).

On December 19th 2020, my Gran turned 90 years old and hence the reason for '90 miles a month'. Gran is my inspiration. 

Gran is living with Dementia and as a family we have witnessed the terrible effects it has had on her ability to think, remember and go about her day to day life.  

Alzheimer’s is the most common disease that causes dementia. It alone, accounts for around two thirds of all dementia cases. 

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. 

I want to play my part in their mission..."to bring about the first life-changing treatment by 2025". I am sure so many other families have been affected by dementia and so any support that you can offer would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.
