Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Action have been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and have helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. By supporting us, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.Teams of four or two are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where they will cycle 30 miles off-road with challenging terrain, navigate a 2-mile course on the waters of Lyn Padarn, and finally following a 9 mile hike along the Llanberis path, summit Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and England.
