Story

The POI Celebrity Christmas Tour team are raising funds for The Orangutan Project, a not-for-profit Australian organisation whose mission is to save the Bornean and Sumatran orangutan species from extinction by conserving the rainforest and reintroducing displaced orangutans into the wild.

We are delighted to have the rare opportunity to visit the Tanjung Puting National Park in Central Borneo, where we shall see the amazing orangutans and learn about the vital work being done by TOP and its partners.

We are lucky to have Lorinda McLinden, POI founder and president co-hosting along with Riverdale's Nathalie Boltt (actress and POI's ambassador). Both Lorinda and Nathalie are passionate about the plight of the orangutans in Indonesia, and are working to raise awareness about the destructive nature of palm oil plantations in Indonesia. As well now we are delighted to have actor Adam Croasdell joining our adventure)

As part of this trip, our group is setting about to raise $10,000, which will all be directed to The Orangutan Project.  All the money raised on this site goes directly to TOP to continue their vital work saving the orangutans .
