Sponsored Haircut At Holistic Xmas Event

Sponsored Haircut · 21 November 2019
I often get asked about my hair which stays permanently in a braided bun, it gets people curious as to how long it is. Well I can confirm it’s a staggering 17 inches long and On the 21st of November during my Holistic XMas event in Wells-next-the-Sea; I am having it all chopped off! I intend to donate the hair to The Little Princess Trust in a hope that a little girl or boy who needs my hair more than me can experience the joy I feel when I see my long flowing hair in the mirror every morning and it can finally live free of the braided bun!
I recognise just how lucky I am to be able to even grow my hair past shoulder length, but for some people, it just simply isn't an option to grow any hair of any length. I endure my hair but am thankful for it, and I hope the wig it will go on to create will make someone else feel happier.
Alongside donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust, I am also hoping to raise money through the sponsorship and event for 2 fantastic charities: The Wells Community Hospital Trust, which is a charity based in Wells-next-the-Sea Norfolk and Break Charity, also based in Norfolk.
Break make life better for vulnerable young people.
They work tirelessly to help young people in care and moving on, children with disabilities, children at risk, and families who need support, find a way through difficult times and open the door to brighter tomorrows. Their vision is to ensure children, young people and families reach their full potential and shape their own futures in a safe and creative environment. As a mum of 3 disabled young adults I know how invaluable the support break can offer a family in need.
Wells Community Hospital Trust is a local charity that provides a wide range of flexible and integrated health & wellbeing services for the community. They support people locally to keep independent longer by the provision of high quality preventative clinical services and non-clinical therapeutic support within a safe environment. They are an important community resource which addresses a wide range of social, emotional and practical needs holistically thus enabling people to take greater control of their own health.
I hope you will support me and three wonderful charities <3
Lots of love,
Nicola
